Indian rupee opens 4 paise up at 88.40 against dollar

Indian rupee opened 4 paise up on September 12 after a key U.S. inflation data came in line with expectations, currency experts said. The domestic currency opened at 88.40 against the US dollar, as compared to 88.44 against the greenback.
